As the festive holiday season comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on what has been a truly special time. The last few weeks have been about one thing: taking a complete break. No work emails, no coding challenges, no deadlines—just pure, uninterrupted family time.
Relax. Unwind. Reset. 🧘
In our always-on, hyperconnected world, it’s easy to forget the importance of truly switching off. This holiday, I made a conscious decision to do just that:
- Relax: Let go of work stress and the constant mental chatter about projects and deadlines
- Unwind: Disconnect from screens (well, mostly!) and be fully present with loved ones
- Reset: Recharge my mental and physical batteries for the year ahead
The result? I feel refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to tackle 2026 with renewed energy and focus.
Family Time: The Greatest Gift 👨👩👧👦
The festive holiday was spent with family—the people who matter most. We enjoyed:
- Delicious holiday meals together
- Laughter and stories shared around the table
- Cozy evenings with movies and games
- Quality time without the usual rush and distractions

Building LEGO: Finding Joy in Creation 🧱
One of the unexpected highlights of this holiday was getting to build LEGO! There’s something incredibly satisfying about following instructions, piece by piece, watching something beautiful take shape from a pile of plastic bricks.
I had the pleasure of building the LEGO Botanicals 10340 collection—adorable little plant-themed characters that now sit proudly on my desk. These charming creations are more than just toys; they’re a reminder to find joy in simple pleasures and to nurture creativity.
